We're inviting trans, intersex, nonbinary, and gender-expansive community members across Asian and Pacific Islander diasporas to offer feedback that will shape the Reorienting Reads collective. For more details, see below!
Reorienting Reads Dreaming Sessions
Reorienting Reads is a new collective that emerged from recent organizing efforts in response to the cancellation of the 2023 Asian American Literature Festival and the Asian American Trans and Nonbinary Reading Room.
We are committed to amplifying Asian and Pacific Islander diasporic trans, intersex, nonbinary, and gender-expansive voices through community events, educational resources, and publishing projects. We’re eager for your feedback on what you want this collective to do and what it could look like!
In this session, we hope to:
- 1) Learn about your hopes and dreams for our collective
- 2) Imagine possibilities for present and future projects
- 3) Share avenues for engagement and collaboration
